The under fifteens brought home their first victory in a rearranged league match at Brighouse.

Spen bowled first and opened again with Matty Haley, who had another great spell and took three wickets, and rising star Tom Raven. Sam Sharp and Oli Davison took six wickets between them - Sharp who was on a hat trick and Davison who got helped by a batter walking onto his stumps. The other wicket taker was Courtney Hodgeson and was brilliantly backed up by James Housecroft and Deraj Sharma. The joint top scorer for Brighouse was extras with twenty-four runs.

Deraj Sharma and Oli Davison got off to a great start and were on fifty-two without loss until Sharma was undone by a ball that nipped back into his middle stump. Ten minutes later Davison retired on thirty-five after a good batting performance. This left Chris Rodwell and Ant Dowling to get the winning runs. A solid performance from Spen who went home claiming a valuable four points.
